YouTube / Content ID Conditional
YouTube takes AI music with Gen AI disclosure. Several distributors (LANDR, Amuse, Ditto) won't deliver AI tracks to Content ID.
Conditions & limits
- Music partners should declare Fully, Partly, or No Gen AI (DDEX ERN 4.3.2+, CSV, or YouTube Studio).
- YouTube may use its own signals and label content as Gen AI even if you don't declare it.
- Content ID is excluded for AI by LANDR and Amuse, and may be rejected via Ditto.
Disclosure
Yes. Gen AI declaration (all / partly / none). A typical Suno prompt-to-track counts as "Fully Gen AI".
Unclear
- Whether YouTube Content ID itself accepts fully AI sound recordings. YouTube's page covers disclosure only. Distributor policies differ.
